I stage managed a number of shows during my college career and I was very thankful for the learning experience. Those shows were Sustenance (a devised piece), Die Fledermaus, One Sunday in Birmingham, and Last Night in Harlem. The last two show listed were put on by Hope Road Youth and Community Theatre. They came into our space and I was lucky enough to be able to work with them on putting on a fun, educational show. I enjoyed stage management and loved the opportunity to work with the actors and design team in a new way.

At the University of Dayton, I worked in the carpentry shop and built the sets for all the shows put on, as well as sound designing and stage managing the same shows. These shows were A New Brain, Once Upon a Mattress, Sustenance, And A Child Shall Lead, Die Fledermaus, Enmity of the People, and Live on Air. There were also a number of dance performances and other school related work that I helped build. I loved working in the shop because I was able to understand everything that goes into making a show and I was able to increase my skills with tools.
